COMMUNITY RECOGNITION &
INVOLVEMENT
One of LETC's major goals is to promote theatre within the Latinocommunity
of Chicago and the United States. Many community organizations have
opened their doors to LETC and continually show support and recognition
for its work. Performances take place at a wide variety of locations,
allowing LETC to reach an extensive audience which includes communities
generally under-served by theatre. Since, 1987 LETC has performed
for over 7,000 people.

LETC has also performed at more than sixty elementary schools, churches,
community centers and parks combined in the Chicago area. LETC will
reach an even larger audience in the 98-99 season as a result of its increased
marketing ability made possible by a concentrated effort in the development
of its administration and the implementation of a stronger volunteer program.
